Building Citizenship Through Cross-Age Community Connections

Students at McKell Middle School are building strong citizenship skills through a cross-age partnership with preschoolers. By reading, playing, and learning alongside younger children, students practice leadership, empathy, and responsibility while serving as positive role models. This experience helps students understand that being a good community member means supporting others, working together, and taking pride in making a positive impact.
